Privacy Policy

Effective September 2, 2026

1. Overview

SignalLeak is a conversion tracking monitoring service. It compares tracking events generated by a website with actual conversions from connected sources so that tracking problems can be detected and reported.

This Privacy Policy explains what information SignalLeak processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to users of the service.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create a SignalLeak account, we process information necessary to operate your account, such as your email address, authentication information, workspace information, and the websites you connect.

Conversion tracking data

SignalLeak processes technical information needed to determine whether conversion tracking is working correctly. This may include event names, event identifiers, pseudonymized transaction identifiers, conversion values, currencies, event timestamps, tracking source information, and indicators showing whether certain advertising identifiers were present.

SignalLeak is designed to monitor tracking metadata rather than the identity of the person completing a conversion.

Connected service data

When you connect a supported source of truth, such as Stripe, SignalLeak may process conversion information required to compare an actual conversion with the tracking event generated by your website.

Billing information

Subscription payments are processed through Stripe. SignalLeak may store identifiers and subscription status information necessary to manage your subscription, but SignalLeak does not store your full payment card details.

3. Information SignalLeak does not need

SignalLeak does not require the following information to perform conversion tracking monitoring:

  • Customer names
  • Customer email addresses
  • Customer phone numbers
  • Postal addresses
  • Full payment card information
  • Form contents

Customers should not intentionally send this information to SignalLeak through tracking events.

4. How we use information

We use information processed by SignalLeak to:

  • Provide and operate the service.
  • Compare tracking events with actual conversions.
  • Detect missing, duplicate, or inconsistent conversion data.
  • Create tracking incidents and send alerts.
  • Maintain account and workspace security.
  • Manage subscriptions and billing.
  • Diagnose problems and improve the reliability of SignalLeak.
  • Prevent abuse or unauthorized use of the service.

5. Service providers

SignalLeak relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate. These may include providers for cloud infrastructure, databases, authentication, email delivery, and payment processing.

These providers process information as necessary to provide their services to SignalLeak and may maintain their own privacy and security practices.

6. Data retention

SignalLeak is designed to minimize the amount of raw tracking data it retains. Raw observed tracking events and source conversion data may be retained for a limited operational period before automatic deletion.

Incident records, aggregated monitoring information, account information, billing records, and other information necessary to operate the service may be retained for longer periods where reasonably necessary.

7. Security

SignalLeak uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information processed by the service. These include access controls, workspace isolation, encrypted network connections, restricted server credentials, and pseudonymization of transaction identifiers used for reconciliation.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for protecting their own account credentials and integration secrets.

8. International processing

SignalLeak and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you or your customers are located. Data protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.

9. Your choices

You may contact SignalLeak to ask questions about information associated with your account or to request appropriate access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

Some information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

10. Your responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of SignalLeak, including any tracking deployed on their websites, complies with applicable privacy, data protection, advertising, and consent requirements.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SignalLeak changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material revisions are published.
